Artistic Director - Theatre Productions

• Define and articulate the artistic vision and season programming for the theatre company.
• Select plays and other performance works, considering artistic merit, audience appeal, and production feasibility.
• Oversee the casting process, working with directors and casting agents to find suitable talent.
• Provide creative guidance and support to directors, designers, and actors throughout the production process.
• Cultivate relationships with playwrights, artists, and other cultural institutions.
• Ensure the artistic integrity and quality of all productions meets company standards.

• Extensive experience in a leadership role within theatre, such as Artistic Director, Associate Artistic Director, or Senior Director.
• A strong understanding of theatrical history, dramatic literature, and contemporary performance practices.
• Demonstrated ability to select compelling repertoire and guide creative teams effectively.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Theatre Arts, Directing, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and resources within an artistic context.
