Location: Boksburg

Description/Synopsis

Experienced Financial Manager required for an established Machinery Company, based in Boksburg. The ideal candidate will have a BCom degree, completed articles, and a strong post-article background in financial management. A proven track record in managing stock, imports, and distribution is essential. This is a strategic role but requires “hands‑on” oversight of the finance function for the entity as well as managing a team and direct reporting to the FD.

Minimum Requirements
  • BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Completed SAIPA, SAICA or CIMA articles
  • Minimum 5 years post-article experience in a similar role
  • Strong staff management experience – at least 3 years
  • Manufacturing/FMCG or OEM environment experience beneficial
  • Advanced Excel
  • SYSPRO ERP system experience beneficial
  • Experience with stock forecasting, slow‑moving inventory, and import processes
  • Strong financial reporting, consolidation and budgeting skills
Main Responsibilities
  • Full oversight of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
  • Manage, mentor and guide a Finance team of ten staff
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Maintain and manage rolling cash flow forecasts and budgeting processes
  • Compile quarterly and annual income statement forecasts and budgets
  • Oversee inventory and stock control functions
  • Supervise cashbook, creditors and debtors team
  • Manage fixed asset registers and associated compliance
  • Coordinate the audit process, including audit file preparation and finalisation of AFS
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, Taxation, and relevant financial legislation
  • Review and release payments and payroll variance reports
  • Implement and refine finance procedures in line with IFRS
