Cost Controller

Your Mission

• Preparation of Financial results for the BU and Commercial Teams
• Co-ordination and management of flashes, forecasts, budgets and month end process
• Liaise and co-ordinate deadlines between Finance and Operations
• Ad hoc investigations, analysis, costings, reports based on requests from Finance and Operations
• Produce and analyze regular reports;
  Daily, Monthly, Quarterly and Interim Reports
• Analyses and communicating of results to Operations
• Implementation and maintenance of appropriate systems of internal control
• Be a finance business partner to the Operational Team suppliers to manage call offs of stock is mandatory to ensure business continuity and prevent any unplanned stoppages

• Minimum Qualification:
  
  BCom Accounting
• Newly qualified CA(SA) will be advantageous
• CIMA certification will be advantageous
• 3 years experience in costing, management or financial accounting field
• Valid South African Driver’s license
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and unsupervised
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Computer efficiency is essential; SAP & Forestry systems knowledge will be advantageous
• Analytical and systems-thinking mindset
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Structured problem-solving and root cause analysis
• Proactive, self-managed, and disciplined approach to governance
• Able to work after hours when required
