Overview
The Management Accountant is responsible for preparing monthly statements by collecting data, analysing and investigating variances, summarising data, information, and trends. The incumbent prepares monthly and annual statements by assembling data. The position will also be responsible for financial accounting.
Minimum Requirements- Grade 12 or equivalent at NQF level 4
- Financial qualification or equivalent at NQF level 7
- Valid Driver’s License
- At least 5 years' experience within Mining or Construction sector
- Compilation of Creditors and Balance sheet reconciliation
- Review of Bank reconciliation
- Compilation of monthly actuals vs budget results
- Compilation of monthly financial reports to external stakeholders
- Compilation of monthly forecast
- Compilation of monthly cashflow report
- Compilation of monthly VAT returns
- Compilation of Fixed Asset Register
- Respond to financial inquiries
- IT liaison to Group IT function
- Review of Payroll and Payroll queries
