About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Investment Banker to join their corporate finance team in Vereeniging . This role is central to advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other strategic financial transactions. You will conduct in-depth financial analysis, develop complex valuation models, and prepare compelling presentations for clients and investors. This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to work on high-profile deals within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, contributing significantly to the financial advisory services offered by a leading firm in the Gauteng region, and building a strong career in investment banking.
Key Responsibilities- Advise corporate clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raising strategies.
- Develop intricate financial models to support deal valuation and transaction structuring.
- Prepare comprehensive pitch books, presentations, and marketing materials for client engagements.
- Conduct due diligence, market research, and industry analysis for potential transactions.
- Negotiate deal terms and coordinate with legal counsel, accountants, and other advisors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, private equity firms, and institutional investors.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A advisory.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent understanding of capital markets, financial instruments, and transaction processes.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proven track record of successfully executing complex financial transactions.
