Tax Administrator

Tax Administrator position available in Strand.

We are currently looking for a Tax Administrator for a full time position based in Strand, Western Cape.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process and manage provisional tax for clients.
• Prepare and submit Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts and other entities.
• Manage SARS eFiling profiles, tax clearances and tax registrations.
• Handle SARS queries, assessments, penalties, verifications, objections and appeals.
• Register and deregister clients for Income Tax, VAT, PAYE and Dividend Withholding Tax.
• Manage provisional tax returns, amendments, fines, interest and payment allocations.
• Handle PBO registrations and changes to tax and banking details.
• Liaise with SARS and clients regarding tax matters.
• Manage tax administration for new and terminated clients.

Requirements:

• Relevant diploma or degree, or extensive practical tax administration experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Provisional tax administration experience essential.
• Experience with Greatsoft or Caseware.
• Strong knowledge of SARS eFiling and Excel.
• Good understanding of provisional tax processes and administration.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tax deadlines.
