About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-oriented Mortgage Loan Originator to join their thriving team in Vereeniging. This role is responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage application process, from initial inquiry to loan closing, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. You will leverage your expertise to understand client needs, identify suitable mortgage products, and facilitate the approval process. This hybrid position allows for client meetings and team collaboration in the office, complemented by remote administrative tasks.

• Generate new mortgage loan business through proactive networking, referrals, and client outreach.
• Interview applicants to determine their financial eligibility and advise them on appropriate mortgage products.
• Guide clients through the entire loan application process, ensuring all required documentation is collected accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other referral sources.
• Stay updated on mortgage lending guidelines, regulations, and market trends.

• Proven track record in mortgage origination or sales within the financial services industry.
• In-depth knowledge of various mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and loan processing procedures.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a pipeline of leads and close deals effectively.
• Compliance with all relevant mortgage lending regulations and licensing requirements in Gauteng .
