We are seeking a skilled Financial Manager to join our team in Witbank / Emalahleni.
Reporting to the CEO, we are looking for a Finance Manager to lead the financial, accounting, and management functions of our operation.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Finance Manager will manage the full finance and accounting function, prepare management accounts, lead budgeting processes, analyse costs, monitor cash-flow, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. In addition, the role involves managing relationships with stakeholders, overseeing audits, reviewing procurement, and providing financial input into operational planning.
Mining-Specific ResponsibilitiesIn a coal-mining environment, the Finance Manager should monitor costs, processing, equipment, and ensure accurate coal stockpile and inventory reconciliation.
Key Performance IndicatorsThe Finance Manager's performance will be measured based on accuracy of financial reporting, cost savings, cash-flow performance, audit outcomes, and compliance with requirements.
Qualifications and Skills- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field
- Experience in cost management, financial accounting, and auditing
