Qualification
- Matric / Senior Certificate
- Financial Degree or relevant qualification / experience
- Valid drivers licens
- SAICA Articles advantageous
- Minimum eight (8) years’ working experience as a Accounts Payable, Receivable or Services Manager
- Management in a Shared Services environment advantageous
- JDE and Hyperion System experience advantageous; and
- Microsoft Office
- Customer service orientated

- Manage the Financial Services team distribution to meet the SLA (Service Level Agreements) deadlines
- Evaluate cost saving opportunities
- Review monthly reconciliations, report submissions to business units, as well as reporting as required by auditors
- Additional transactional reporting as required by business units
- Liaise and sustain good external relationships: auditors, legal, bankers, statutory organisations, internal and external business partners
- Liaise and sustain good internal relationships
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing requirements
- Ensure changes in financial regulations and legislation are implemented and monitored, to ensure proper governance
- Conduct and review yearly PDA’s (Performance Development Appraisals)
- Monitor and interpret cash flow forecasts and forex requirement of the business units
- Complete management function of the Accounts Payable department, Cashbook, Accounts Receivable and Finance administration
- Perform management duties such as
- Manage large Financial Services team
- Motivate and encourage Financial Services team
- Facilitate knowledge sharing within Financial Services team and other departments
- Conduct training
- Support the Group Shared Services Manager to ensure effective performance within Shared Services, deadlines are met and strive for continuous improvement
- Perform ad hoc duties
