Chief Financial Officer; CFO

Our client, a leading manufacturing conglomerate with significant operations in Vereeniging, Gauteng , is seeking a visionary and highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to spearhead their financial strategy and operations. This executive position is critical to driving the company's growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability. The CFO will be responsible for all financial aspects, including strategic financial planning, investment decisions, capital management, risk mitigation, and financial reporting.

• Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and investor relations.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Manage capital structure, debt financing, and equity raising activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and all relevant regulations.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and corporate governance policies.
• Analyze financial performance, identify key trends, and provide strategic recommendations to the Board and executive team.
• Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee risk management and ensure the company's financial health and stability.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting departments.

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CMA, ACCA, or CPA is mandatory.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with significant experience as a CFO or in a senior executive finance role.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS, financial strategy, corporate finance, capital markets, and risk management.
• Proven experience in leading financial transformations and driving business growth.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
