Our client is seeking a skilled and analytical Forex Trader to join their bustling trading desk in Vereeniging . This challenging role involves executing currency trades, managing foreign exchange risk, and contributing to the firm's profitability in the global markets. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of international currency markets, economic indicators, and risk management techniques, aiming to generate consistent returns while adhering to strict risk parameters and compliance guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Execute foreign exchange trades across various currency pairs, aiming to maximize profit and minimize risk.
- Monitor global economic news, market trends, and geopolitical events that may impact currency valuations.
- Develop and implement trading strategies based on technical and fundamental analysis.
- Manage trading positions, implement stop-loss orders, and adhere to risk management protocols.
- Maintain accurate trading records and provide regular performance reports to management.
- Collaborate with the risk management team to ensure compliance with trading limits and policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience as a Forex Trader or in a related financial markets role.
- Proven understanding of currency markets, trading platforms, and financial instruments.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
- Proficiency in trading software and statistical analysis tools.
- Excellent understanding of risk management principles in a trading context.
