Risk Manager - General Insurance

Our client, a prominent general insurance company, is seeking an experienced and strategic Risk Manager to join their established team in Benoni, Gauteng . This vital role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating a wide range of risks faced by the company, including operational, financial, market, and strategic risks. • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's overall risk management framework.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Professional certification in Risk Management (e.g., CRISC, PRM) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
• In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent understanding of the general insurance business and its associated risks.
• Proficiency in risk assessment tools and techniques.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
