Spa Therapist

Situated on the breathtaking Babylonstoren farm, our spa offers a unique and luxurious experience to guests and staff alike. The ideal candidate is dedicated to delivering exceptional spa treatments to guests, ensuring they leave feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and looking forward to their next visit.

Requirements:

• A relevant, accredited two-year national or international certificate or diploma in beauty therapy.

• At least three years' practical experience in a professional beauty salon or spa environment.

• Previous experience working at reception or in the front office, preferably in a hospitality environment.

• Computer literate, with a working knowledge of booking systems.

• Fluency in Afrikaans and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Availability to work hospitality hours, including weekends and public holidays.

• Team player with a positive attitude: energetic, goal-driven, and reliable.

• Well-groomed, professional appearance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a wide range of treatments, including facials, massages, body treatments, and advanced beauty therapies.

• Perform treatments with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

• Assess guests' needs and customise treatments based on their preferences and skincare requirements.

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the spa and treatment rooms.

• Maintain product knowledge and keep up with industry trends to recommend appropriate products to guests.

• Assist with reception duties, such as guest check-ins, scheduling, and payments when necessary.

• Provide guests with information on spa services and guide them as needed.

• Coordinate with fellow spa therapists to ensure smooth operations.

• Handle calls, emails, and bookings professionally.

• Collaborate with other team members to create a seamless and exceptional guest experience.

• Ensure all treatments are performed in accordance with health and safety standards.
