The main purpose of the Senior Spa Therapist at Malewane Lodge is to deliver the most therapeutically beneficial, professionally elegant, and consistent body and beauty treatments available to our guest. All this, to ensure that we continue to exceed our purpose, which is "to give our guests a complete experience and a perfect stay".

• All treatments, including signature treatments and retail product recommendations and sales.
• Evening treatments are required.
• Meet and greet guests.
• Ensure all duties are performed before guest arrival.
• Practices the highest standard of sanitation and tidiness in the spa.
• Presents an exemplary professional standard in dress, personal grooming, language, and healthy lifestyle.
• Romantic turndowns in guest rooms at night.
• Any other requests within reason, requested by management.

• National diploma in Beauty Therapy, Face and Body from a recognized tertiary institution.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar hotel/lodge environment in a similar position
• Practical experience in massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and all other treatments
• Well groomed
• Dermalogica training required and QMS experience an advantage
• Strong communication skills
• Quality driven individual
• Ability to multi-task, stay calm under pressure and prioritise

It is important that the candidate is able to work as part of a team and is a good cultural fit for The Royal Portfolio.

South African citizenship is advantageous. A valid work permit is essential if you are not in possession of a South African .

It is a requirement of the Thornybush Nature Reserve that all staff undergo a pre-employment polygraph test.
