Senior Hair Stylist and Colour Specialist

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Hair Stylist and Colour Specialist to join their prestigious salon in Vereeniging. This role is for a creative individual with a passion for hair transformations, exceptional technical skills in cutting and colouring, and a strong ability to consult with clients to understand their vision. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services, staying ahead of the latest trends, and contributing to the salon's reputation for excellence and client satisfaction.

As a senior member of the team, you will also play a role in mentoring junior stylists and upholding the salon’s commitment to a premium client experience.

• Perform expert hair cutting, styling, and finishing services for diverse hair types and styles.
• Provide advanced colour services, including balayage, highlights, all-over colour, and colour correction.
• Conduct thorough client consultations to assess hair condition, discuss desired looks, and recommend suitable treatments and styles.
• Educate clients on hair care routines and recommend professional products to maintain their style and hair health.
• Stay current with global hair trends, techniques, and product innovations, bringing fresh ideas to the salon.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped workstation, adhering to salon hygiene standards.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a qualified Hair Stylist.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced hair cutting techniques and all facets of hair colouring.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of styling and colouring work.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client consultation skills.
• Proficiency in using professional hair care products and tools.
