The Nail Technician role at Sorbet Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Somerset West. The role involves providing professional manicures, pedicures, and nail care services with a focus on hygiene, safety, and client comfort. Day-to-day tasks include assessing nail and foot conditions, performing treatments that may support basic non-invasive nail and foot health needs, and executing high-quality nail art and finishes.

The technician will consult with guests to understand their preferences, recommend suitable services and products, and ensure an excellent customer experience from arrival to checkout. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and sanitized workstation, adhering to health and safety standards, managing bookings, and collaborating with team members to create a welcoming, energetic environment.

• Strong nail care skills, including Nails maintenance and Pedicures, with attention to hygiene and safety.
• Ability to create professional Nail Art designs and finishes aligned with brand standards and guest requests.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, build rapport, and manage guest expectations.
• Relevant certification or qualification in nail technology or beauty therapy; advanced training in medical or podiatric-related nail care is an advantage.
• Knowledge of infection control, sanitation procedures, and safe product use in a salon environment.
• Ability to work on-site full time, including weekends or peak hours as needed, and to function effectively in a fast-paced, team-focused setting.
• Previous experience in a salon, spa, or clinical nail care setting is beneficial.
