Job Overview
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated pharmacist to join our current team of Band 6 rotational pharmacists. The role will be based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with rotations potentially including the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, The Aberdeen Maternity Hospital and Woodend Hospital.
We are working on two major developments – the ANCHOR Centre (Cancer) and the Baird Family Hospital (replacement of the current maternity hospital), both due to open in 2026/27.
Responsibilities- Participate in an established rotation covering various pharmacy disciplines – medicine, oncology, surgery, paediatrics, aseptic dispensing, medicines information, dispensary, radiopharmacy and quality assurance.
- Receive training and support centred around the post registration foundation framework.
- Commit to the on‑call rota; training for on‑call duties will commence after an initial settling in period.
