Occupational Therapist – Mental Health

A well-established group practice is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health conditions to reach their maximum potential in daily living, functional independence, and community participation.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy assessments
Facilitate group therapy sessions
Provide individual therapy sessions as indicated
Participate in patient meetings and care planning
Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
Maintain accurate and professional clinical documentation

Requirements, Experience & Qualifications

BSc in Occupational Therapy (community service year completed)
Registered with HPCSA as an independent practitioner
Maintain CPD compliance as required by HPCSA
INSTOPP/OTASA membership and professional malpractice insurance
Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
Experience in a mental health and/or addiction environment (advantageous)
