• A four-year degree in Speech Therapy or Speech Therapy and Audiology with an interest in paediatric special populations and compliance to HPCSA CPD requirements. Applicants must have completed one year community service and be registered as an independent practitioner. Applicants should have good communication, interpersonal and conflict management skills. They should be able to work independently and within a team when required.
  
  Applicants should be able to be flexible and work under pressure.

• Provision and monitoring of evidence-based speech therapy services in line with departmental, provincial and national strategic and operational plans, including quality assurance principles within a multicultural and multi-linguistic environment. Assist with supervision and mentoring of staff and students. Lead and adapt to change with effective communication and collaboration between MDT work teams. Contribute to collation and analysis of data for service development, manage stock and resources, attend meetings, and assist in managerial tasks when required.
