About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Sports Physiotherapist to join their dedicated healthcare team in Benoni . This role involves providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of sports-related injuries and conditions for athletes of all levels. You will work closely with coaches, trainers, and medical professionals to develop comprehensive rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring function, preventing future injuries, and optimizing athletic performance.

This hybrid role requires direct patient interaction at the facility, complemented by remote duties such as patient follow-up and program design.

• Conduct thorough assessments of athletes to diagnose sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans to restore function and promote recovery.
• Utilize a range of physiotherapy techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and therapeutic modalities.
• Educate athletes on injury prevention strategies, proper training techniques, and injury management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting progress and treatment outcomes.

• Registered Physiotherapist with a valid practicing license.
• Specialized postgraduate qualification or extensive experience in sports physiotherapy .
• Proven ability to diagnose and treat a wide spectrum of sports injuries.
• Excellent clinical reasoning, manual therapy, and exercise prescription skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with athletes and colleagues.
