Clinical Psychologist - Mental Health Services

Our client is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join their dedicated mental health services team in Vereeniging . In this hybrid role, you will provide comprehensive psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of mental health challenges. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and effective patient care, offering both in-person and remote therapy sessions to best serve client needs.

• Conduct thorough psychological evaluations, including diagnostic interviews and psychometric testing.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client needs.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy (e.g., CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy) in both individual and group settings.
• Offer tele-therapy services to ensure accessibility and flexibility for clients.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Licensed or license-eligible as a Clinical Psychologist in South Africa.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral experience in clinical practice.
• Proficiency in administering and interpreting a variety of psychological assessment tools.
• Experience with different therapeutic modalities and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Strong ethical standards and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
