Senior Nutritionist and Dietitian

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Nutritionist and Dietitian to lead their nutritional services department in Klerksdorp . In this vital role, you will be responsible for assessing patient nutritional needs, developing personalized dietary plans, and providing expert guidance on health and wellness through food. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to manage a variety of health conditions, focusing on evidence-based nutritional interventions.

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for individuals and groups, identifying dietary needs and health risks.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized dietary plans and nutritional interventions for patients with various medical conditions.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and education to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Supervise and mentor junior nutritionists and dietetic interns, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards of care.

• Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or equivalent professional credential required.
• Minimum of 6 years of clinical experience in nutrition and dietetics, with a significant portion in a senior or supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity).
