Sports Psychologist

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sports Psychologist to join their hybrid team, providing vital mental health support to athletes and sports professionals. This role involves helping individuals enhance their performance, manage stress, overcome challenges, and achieve their full potential both on and off the field. You will work closely with athletes, coaches, and support staff to develop personalized mental skills training programs.

• Conduct assessments to identify athletes' psychological strengths and areas for development related to performance.
• Develop and implement individualized mental skills training programs, focusing on areas such as focus, confidence, resilience, and goal setting.
• Provide counseling and support to athletes dealing with performance anxiety, burnout, injury rehabilitation, and personal challenges.
• Collaborate with coaches and support staff to foster a positive and supportive team environment conducive to mental well-being.
• Maintain confidential records and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in sports psychology practice.

• Ph.D. or Psy.
  
  D. in Psychology with a specialization in Sports Psychology or related field.
• Licensed as a Psychologist in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with athletes and sports teams.
• Expertise in performance enhancement techniques, mental skills training, and crisis intervention.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to build trust remotely and in person.
