About the Role
Our client is seeking a robust Human Resources Manager with specific experience in the industrial sector for their Benoni facility. This role demands strong leadership in managing industrial relations, ensuring compliance with OHS regulations, and implementing HR policies within a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for overseeing recruitment, training, performance management, and fostering a safe and productive workplace culture. This is a key leadership position requiring strategic thinking and hands-on management of HR functions critical to operational success in a demanding industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of human resources within the industrial environment, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
- Oversee and develop industrial relations strategies, including negotiation with unions and managing disputes.
- Ensure strict adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and company policies.
- Implement performance management systems and drive talent development initiatives.
- Advise senior management on HR best practices, labor law compliance, and strategic workforce planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or relevant field.
- Minimum of 8 years of HR experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record in managing industrial relations, collective bargaining, and dispute resolution.
- Strong understanding of OHS legislation and its practical application.
