HR Officer FTC

Assist with end-to-end talent acquisition, including job postings, interview scheduling, background checks, and applicant correspondence

Coordinate the full onboarding lifecycle, including contract administration, compliance verification, documentation, and inductions

Manage off-boarding processes to ensure full compliance, including conducting exit interviews and asset collection

Maintain and update the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and manage employee record compliance

Support global mobility processes to ensure international placement and assignment compliance across relevant jurisdictions

Collaborate with the broader People & Culture team to deliver consistent, high-quality HR services

Collate HR metrics, data, and statistics for management reporting and business development requirements

Assist with Skills Development and Employment Equity/Affirmative Action planning, implementation, and statutory reporting

Perform general HR administration, filing, and ad hoc duties as required

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field from a recognized institution
• 5+ years of experience in a People/HR role, preferably within engineering, mining, or related industries
• South African Citizenship or Permanent Residency, based in Cape Town
• Proven proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) and experience with HRIS platforms
• Strong understanding of South African labour compliance, Employment Equity, and Skills Development
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while meeting high quality standards
• High level of professional ethics, discretion, and strict confidentiality
