The Human Resources Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gauteng. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, including implementing HR policies, supporting managers with staffing needs, and maintaining accurate employee records. The Human Resources Officer will handle employee relations matters, coordinate recruitment and onboarding/offboarding activities, assist with performance management processes, and ensure job descriptions remain current and aligned with organizational needs.

The role also involves advising leadership on HR best practices, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and contributing to a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

• Candidates should possess skills in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, including experience with core HR processes and systems.
• Candidates should possess skills in HR Policies and Job Description Development, with the ability to create, implement, and update HR frameworks and role profiles.
• Candidates should possess skills in Employee Relations, with a track record of handling workplace issues fairly and constructively.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities, with the capacity to build trust across diverse teams.
• Knowledge of labor laws, BCEA, HR compliance requirements, and best practices in healthcare or related sectors is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in an HR officer or generalist role, ideally within healthcare or a similarly regulated environment, is an advantage.
