About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Employee Relations Specialist to join their HR team in Klerksdorp . This role is critical for maintaining a harmonious and productive work environment by effectively managing employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations. You will act as a trusted advisor to both employees and management, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and compliance with labour laws.

This on-site position is vital for fostering positive working relationships within the North West operations.

• Investigate and resolve employee grievances, disputes, and workplace conflicts promptly and impartially.
• Manage and document disciplinary processes, ensuring fairness and compliance with company policy and legislation.
• Develop and deliver training programs on employee relations, conflict resolution, and policy adherence.
• Advise management on employee relations best practices and legal requirements.
• Conduct workplace investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, or policy violations.
• Promote a positive and ethical workplace culture through proactive engagement and support.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience specifically in employee relations or labour law.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labour law and industrial relations principles.
• Proven experience in conducting workplace investigations and managing disciplinary hearings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
