About the Role
Our client in Kimberley is seeking a proactive and empathetic Employee Relations Specialist to foster a positive and productive work environment. This role is dedicated to managing and resolving workplace issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies, and promoting healthy employee relations. You will act as a key point of contact for employees and management, providing guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and grievance management.
The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, a deep understanding of HR principles, and a commitment to fair treatment.
- Manage and resolve employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace conflicts in accordance with company policy and labor laws in Kimberley .
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee relations issues, ensuring fairness and confidentiality.
- Advise managers and supervisors on employee relations best practices and legal requirements.
- Develop and deliver training programs on topics such as conflict resolution, harassment prevention, and performance management.
- Promote a positive organizational culture through proactive engagement and communication strategies.
- Stay updated on labor laws and industry trends impacting employee relations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience specifically in employee relations or a related HR field.
- In-depth knowledge of South African labor law and dispute resolution processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
