HR Specialist - Compensation & Benefits

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented HR Specialist focusing on Compensation and Benefits to join their team in Vereeniging . This on-site role is critical for designing, implementing, and managing competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs. You will play a key role in ensuring our client attracts and retains top talent by offering attractive remuneration packages.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of market trends, financial principles, and legislative requirements related to compensation and benefits in South Africa.

• Develop, implement, and administer competitive salary structures and incentive programs.
• Manage the company's benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement funds, and other employee perks.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure compensation competitiveness.
• Analyze compensation data to identify trends and provide recommendations for adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to compensation and benefits.
• Collaborate with Finance and other departments on budget planning and cost management for HR programs.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor laws related to compensation.
• Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
