IDX Group is seeking an experienced IT Support Team Lead (NZ) to lead our New Zealand-based IT Desktop Support team and work alongside Australian state leads to deliver a follow-the-sun support service across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting to the Deputy Technology Operations Manager, you will lead day-to-day operations, manage escalations, maintain service levels, and mentor a high-performing team of technicians. This role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement and shaping the future of IT support at IDX.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the NZ IT support team
  • Manage service delivery, escalations, and performance reporting
  • Coach and mentor technicians to build a positive team culture
  • Drive continuous service improvement initiatives
  • Support project delivery including application rollouts and new clinic openings
  • Participate in an on-call roster as required
About You

You are an organised, reliable IT leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills. You can translate technical concepts into clear language and remain calm in high-pressure situations.

Technical Skills & Experience
  • Windows, Android & iOS environments
  • Microsoft technologies (Windows 10, Office 365, Windows Server, Active Directory)
  • ITIL knowledge and ITSM platforms (Service Desk Plus desirable)
  • L1–L3 technical support experience
  • Project and BAU workload management
