We’re looking for a Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at KFC Rohloff Group
. In this role, you’ll help drive our franchise group’s growth and success through predictive modelling within the BI Department, enabling the business to make smarter, data-driven decisions. You’ll focus on building machine learning models, performing in-depth statistical analysis, and delivering AI-powered insights that enhance operational efficiency and elevate the customer experience.
Advanced Analytics & Modeling
- Design and implement machine learning models for forecasting, segmentation, and optimization.
- Conduct predictive and prescriptive analytics to support strategic business decisions.
Data Exploration & Visualization
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
- Develop visualizations, dashboards, and analytical models using BI tools such as Power BI and Python libraries.
Collaboration & Integration
- Work closely with BI Developers, Data Engineers, and Business Analysts to integrate models into BI platforms.
- Partner with business units to translate requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Research and apply emerging technologies in AI and data science.
- Drive automation and advanced techniques to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data quality and integrity
- Proficiency in Python or R for advanced data manipulation, modelling, and automation.
- Strong understanding of ETL pipelines, data warehousing, and integration processes.
- Familiarity with APIs and common data formats such as JSON, XML, and OData.
- Experience with Power BI, SSRS, and advanced Excel for reporting and dashboard development.
- Ability to build interactive data modelsand apply DAX for analytics.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
