Project Management Officer

Our client, is seeking a structured and detail-oriented PMO Officer to support project governance, reporting, and coordination across complex engineering and defense programmes.

The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered in line with scope, schedule, budget, and compliance requirements within a highly regulated environment.

• Support project governance frameworks and PMO standards
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and reporting dashboards
• Track risks, issues, and mitigation plans
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Assist with project planning and scheduling (MS Project / Primavera)
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, finance)
• Consolidate executive-level reports and performance metrics
• Support change management and configuration control processes
• Maintain accurate records for audit and quality assurance purposes
• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 3–5 years’ experience in a PMO or project support environment
• Experience with in engineering, manufacturing, or defence industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of project governance principles
• Proficiency in MS Project and advanced Excel
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP advantageous)
• Strong analytical and reporting capability
• High attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills
• Structured and process-driven mindset
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Deadline-driven and resilient under pressure
• Strong compliance and risk awareness

• PMP / PRINCE2 certification
• Experience working on large-scale, multi-year programmes
• Exposure to defense contracts or regulated industries
