🚀 About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive ERP Systems Software Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team based in Isando. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our core business systems — particularly SAP, Evolve, and Xperteck.

🎯 Key Focus of the Role You will be responsible for:
- Providing hands-on technical support and maintenance for ERP and business-critical systems
- Ensuring optimal performance of SAP, Evolve, and Xperteck
- Supporting system enhancements, upgrades, and implementation projects
- Maintaining high levels of data integrity, service quality, and user satisfaction
- Proactively identifying system improvements and preventing recurring issues
- Provide application support to internal users and external stakeholders
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system issues efficiently
- Assign priority levels to logged calls (Low / Medium / High / Urgent / Critical)
- Perform root cause analysis on recurring incidents
- Maintain and monitor system performance to ensure uptime and reliability
- Carry out scheduled system maintenance tasks
- SAP

- Xperteck
Continuous Improvement & Projects
- Assist with ERP product enhancements and new developments
- Participate in pre- and post-implementation support
- Provide system expertise during divisional and cross-functional projects
- Recommend improvements to business processes and system usage
- Maintain and enhance the Help Desk knowledge base
- Maintain data quality and integrity across systems
- Work with databases, reporting tools, and query systems
- Document technical procedures and newly developed functionality
- Provide clear, professional communication to all stakeholders
- Manage relationships with approved 1st and 2nd level support suppliers
- Participate in weekly problem-analysis meetings
- Support Alert Management processes
- Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology (System Support or similar)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting ERP systems in a production, customer-facing environment
- Strong experience working with:
- SAP
- Evolve
- Xperteck
- Experience with database systems, reporting tools, and queries
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and prioritisation ability
- Ability to build professional relationships across departments
- Team player with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Experience in the logistics, warehouse, or freight industry
- Exposure to ERP system implementations or migrations
- Proven track record of reducing recurring incidents
- Strong documentation and knowledge-base management skills
- Experience working in high-volume operational environments
