Quantum Insights is a leading data analytics company that provides cutting-edge solutions to businesses across various industries. We are currently seeking a Junior IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a Junior IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's technology systems. You will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our employees, as well as assisting with the maintenance and upgrading of our hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide first-line technical support to employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues

- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications

- Perform routine maintenance and updates on company hardware and software

- Monitor and respond to system alerts and error messages

- Assist with the setup and deployment of new technology equipment

- Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement process improvements

- Create and maintain documentation for IT procedures and processes

- Keep up-to-date with the latest technology developments and trends to provide innovative solutions to the business

- Provide training and support to employees on new technology systems and software

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role

- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems

- Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems

- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

- Ability to adapt to changing technology and business needs

- Certifications in relevant IT fields (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) is a plus
