Our client is seeking a creative and technically skilled Web & Graphic Designer to join their team in Cape Town. This is a permanent opportunity for a professional with experience in Word Press website management, Elementor design, SEO implementation, and graphic design. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining multiple websites, creating digital and print marketing collateral, and supporting the organisation's online presence across various platforms.

Bellville, Cape Town, Western Cape

• 2–4 years' experience in Web Design, Graphic Design, or Digital Marketing Design
• Strong experience managing Word Press websites
• Proficient in Elementor website design and development
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• PHP knowledge advantageous
• Experience updating and maintaining Word Press websites within live hosting environments
• Understanding of technical SEO best practices and implementation
• Experience with website performance optimisation and mobile responsiveness
• Familiarity with website security, backups, and staging environments
• Experience troubleshooting Word Press theme and plugin conflicts
• Knowledge of website integrations including Gravity Forms, Campaign Monitor, Google Analytics, and tracking tools
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva
• Experience designing digital marketing assets, social media graphics, brochures, flyers, banners, presentations, and email templates
• Strong typography, layout, branding, and visual communication skills
• Experience preparing print-ready artwork according to supplier specifications
• Strong organisational skills with experience maintaining digital asset libraries and marketing collateral
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Maintain, update, and manage multiple Word Press websites
• Design and develop new website pages and layouts using Elementor
• Perform Word Press core, plugin, theme, and PHP updates
• Troubleshoot compatibility issues between legacy themes and current Word Press versions
• Resolve plugin conflicts and implement website improvements
• Ensure website security, backups, uptime, and staging environment management
• Optimise websites for mobile responsiveness, speed, and performance
• Implement technical SEO recommendations, including:
  • Meta titles and descriptions
  • Image alt tags
  • Internal linking strategies
  • URL structure optimisation
  • Schema markup implementation
  • Website performance improvements
• Maintain and troubleshoot Gravity Forms, Campaign Monitor, and analytics integrations
• Ensure tracking pixels and website analytics are functioning correctly
• Design website graphics, icons, and illustrations
• Create brochures, flyers, pull-up banners, presentations, and other marketing collateral
• Develop social media graphics, digital advertising assets, and email newsletter templates
• Maintain brand consistency across all digital and print channels
• Organise and manage a centralised marketing asset library
• Apply metadata and tagging standards to improve asset management and accessibility
• Manage the lifecycle of marketing materials, including updates, archiving, and version control
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve website functionality, design, and user experience
