Are you a visionary team player with a passion for developing and designing various databases? We're looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team at KFC Rohloff Group. Drive our franchise group's growth and success through managing design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions that turn data into knowledge, while also ensuring the efficient administration, maintenance, security, and performance of our databases.
WhatYou'll Be Cooking Up
- Design, build, and deploy scalable Business Intelligence solutions, owning the semantic layer and delivering impactful dashboards that leverage strong analytical thinking, data storytelling, and actionable insights to support data‑driven decision‑making across the business.
- Create and maintain data integration solutions and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from a variety of enterprise systems and data sources.
- Perform SQL development, including designing, coding, testing, and optimizing queries, procedures, and data models to generate meaningful business insights.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable reporting, analytics, and data solutions.
- Continuously improve reporting, analytics, semantic models, and visualization methodologies to increase business value and user adoption.
- Assist in database administration activities, including performance monitoring, database maintenance, backup and recovery processes, security management, and ensuring the availability, integrity, and reliability of enterprise data platforms.
- Monitor, maintain, report usage and drive business adoption.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are upheld across reporting, analytics, and operational data environments.
- Contribute to the evolution of the organization's data architecture, BI platform, and analytics capabilities through innovation, automation, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, business intelligence, or related field.
- Certification in Database Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience with data warehouse design and business analysis.
- Understanding of database management systems, OLAP, and ETL processes.
- Proficient in presenting information through reports and visualization.
- Skilled in SQL Server, Power BI, DAX, T‑SQL, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
- Experience with cloud databases (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS) is advantageous.
- Knowledge of FMCG or retail industries is a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Analytical and detail‑oriented.
- Proactive with a problem‑solving attitude.
- Business acumen and sense of urgency.
