IT System Administrator (AX 2012 Specialist) (f/m/d)

We are looking for you, effective immediately, as IT System Administrator (AX 2012 Specialist) (f/m/d) for our location in Johannesburg (Boksburg) - become part of our team!

As IT System Administrator (AX 2012 Specialist) (f/m/d), your responsibilities will, among others, the setup, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems, with a primary focus on the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 environment, infrastructure security, and global project alignment.

• Administration:
  Manage AX 2012 environments, including AOS instances, analysis services, security roles, and user permissions.
• Optimization:
  Design and implement ERP processes to meet evolving business needs.
• Database Care:
  Maintain SQL Server health, including log file management, backup verification, job monitoring, and performance tuning.
• EDI & Integration:
  Lead EDI onboarding projects and maintain existing EDI functionality.
• Environment management:
  Move code and projects between AX environments for testing and production.
• Consultant and Developers Liaison:
  Contact point for external consultants and developers, collaborate on new ERP customizations, and maintain relationships with externals.
• AX Servers:
  Maintain server software in relation to AX 2012 system.
• Hybrid Support:
  Provide high-level support for server/network issues while assisting with Service Desk duties for end-users when required.
• ICT Documentation & Reviews:
  Maintain comprehensive documentation on ICT systems and conduct reviews of systems and access.
• User training:
  Provide training for users on the AX 2012 system
• Business continuity:
  Support disaster recovery for IT systems and review backup effectiveness
• Global Alignment:
  Execute and manage IT projects directed by Regional HQ (RHQ) and Global HQ (GHQ) in collaboration with Network Administrator.
• Change Control:
  Rigorously test and document all system changes, initiate FRDs, and monitor implementations.

• Technical Certifications (Updated)
• Microsoft Path:
  Microsoft Certified:
  Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (Beneficial)
• Legacy Knowledge:
  Deep functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
• Foundational:
  Microsoft Certified:
  Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP) or equivalent Microsoft ERP certification.
• Process: ITIL 4 Foundation.
• Project management:
  Agile Foundation
• Experience & Requirements
• Seniority:
  Minimum of 5 years in ICT.
• Scripting:
  Proficiency in SQL Scripting and view creation.
• Communication:
  Fluent in English with the ability to communicate technical concepts to all levels of the organization.
• Mobility:
  Valid driver's license for company vehicle use.
