About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to bolster their IT and Software security posture in Vereeniging . • Monitor security alerts and logs to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend remediation actions.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, threat analysis, or incident response.
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint security solutions.
• Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
