E-commerce Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented E-commerce Analyst to join their team in Vereeniging. This role is critical for driving data-informed decision-making across all online operations. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting vast amounts of data related to website performance, customer behavior, sales trends, and marketing campaign effectiveness. The insights you provide will directly influence strategy, optimize user experience, and maximize revenue.

• Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources including website analytics, sales databases, and marketing platforms.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to e-commerce success.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within the data to inform strategic decisions on website optimization, marketing, and product assortment.
• Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to measure the impact of changes on user behavior and conversion rates.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders across marketing, sales, and product development teams.
• Stay abreast of the latest analytical tools and methodologies in the e-commerce space.

• Proven experience as an E-commerce Analyst or in a similar data analysis role.
• Strong proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
