About the Role

Our client is searching for a detail-oriented and resourceful Helpdesk Support Analyst to join their IT department in Vereeniging . This role is essential for providing frontline technical support to employees, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and services. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving a wide range of IT issues, from software glitches to hardware malfunctions, and providing a high level of user support.

• Provide timely and effective first and second-level technical support to internal users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, and in-person.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the company's IT infrastructure.
• Document support activities, resolutions, and create user guides for common issues.
• Assist with IT asset management and inventory control.

• Proven experience as a Helpdesk Support Analyst or similar IT support role.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking principles.
• Proficiency with IT support ticketing systems and remote support tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
