About the Role
Our client is seeking eager Graduate Trainees to join their Information Technology Support team in Benoni . This is a crucial role where you will provide first-line technical assistance to employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. You will gain practical experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Under the guidance of experienced IT professionals, you will develop essential technical skills and grow into a valuable member of our tech-focused organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, and networks.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems , escalating complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Assist in managing IT inventory and maintaining documentation of IT assets and procedures.
- Contribute to the implementation of new IT systems and upgrades.
- A degree or diploma in Information Technology , Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common software applications.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting and basic IT security principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a patient, customer-focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Comprehensive IT support training and exposure to diverse technologies.
