Key Performance Areas
Develop and implement a group master data governance framework across all business units. Define data ownership, roles and responsibilities across Supply Chain, Finance, Sales and Procurement. Establish and enforce master data policies, standards and procedures, including audit and control requirements. Drive standardisation of data definitions and structures across systems and sites. Manage key master data domains, including customer, supplier and procurement data, material/SKU, Bills of Material, production data, milk sourcing data, pricing and trade terms.
Oversee the creation, maintenance, and deletion of master data objects, supported by effective validation and approval of workflows. Ensure data is accurate, complete, consistent, and synchronised across ERP and related systems. Support system implementations, upgrades, and integrations from a master data perspective. Implement data quality monitoring, reporting, cleansing, and issue-resolution processes. Identify the root causes of data errors and drive corrective actions.
Manage changes to master data structures and standards, including impact assessment across systems and business processes. Continuously improve master data processes and support business transformation and integration initiatives. Develop data management capability and provide guidance to business users on master data standards and processes. Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Sales and Operations teams to strengthen data integrity and accountability.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business or related field.
- 8 to 10 years experience in master data management, ERP systems or supply chain data environments.
- Experience in multi-site or multi-system environments, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing.
- Proven experience in data governance, data quality management, and system integration.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and master data structures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement capability.
