About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical Senior Data Scientist with a strong focus on AI to join their team in Klerksdorp . You will be instrumental in extracting actionable insights from complex datasets, developing predictive models, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and the ability to translate business challenges into data science solutions.

You will collaborate closely with various teams to unlock the potential of data and advanced analytics, contributing to innovative projects within the North West province.

• Develop, train, and deploy advanced machine learning models for various business applications.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate model performance and business impact.
• Collaborate with engineers to product ionize data science models and ensure scalability.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a significant focus on AI and machine learning.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Tensor Flow).
• Strong knowledge of database technologies and SQL.
