Blockchain Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and experienced Blockchain Project Manager to lead diverse project teams in Klerksdorp . This role requires a strategic thinker capable of overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex blockchain initiatives from conception to completion. You will be instrumental in coordinating efforts between technical teams, stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Lead the end-to-end management of blockchain projects, including defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Develop detailed project plans, manage schedules, and track project progress using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among development teams, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies, proactively addressing potential challenges.
• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and align with the overall business strategy.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular status reports to senior management.

• Proven experience in project management, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex software or technology projects, preferably in the blockchain space.
• Solid understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is advantageous.
