Information Security Officer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and proactive Information Security Officer to bolster their security efforts in Klerksdorp . This role is critical for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization's information assets. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security controls, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents. • Implement and manage technical security controls across the organization's IT infrastructure.

• Manage security awareness training programs for employees.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; professional certifications such as Security+ or CISSP are advantageous.
• 3-5 years of experience in information security, risk management, or IT audit.
• Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint security, and data protection principles.
• Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid model.
