Junior IT Support Technician

• Provide first-line technical support to users via phone, email, and remote support tools.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Assist with user account creation, password resets, and access permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Perform routine system updates, antivirus checks, and basic security maintenance.
• Support the setup and maintenance of network equipment such as switches, routers, and Wi-Fi access points.
• Log and track support requests using a helpdesk or ticketing system.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when required.
• Assist with equipment inventory management, and documentation.

Provide basic user training and guidance on company IT systems and applications.

• Good understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
