A well-established global organisation focused on international community development is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a leading role within its growing Data & Insight function.

This is not a traditional BA role focused only on requirements gathering. You will act as the bridge between business needs, data products, AI capability and delivery
, helping teams across the organisation turn complex questions into practical, high-value data solutions.

Reporting to the Head of Data, you will take ownership of the data products roadmap while leading a team of Data Analysts and BI Developers. A major part of the role is leadership through influence
: winning stakeholders over, creating enthusiasm around what data can enable, and championing better use of data and AI across the organisation.

You do not need to be the deepest technical specialist in the team, but you must have strong data literacy and enough practical experience to confidently lead conversations around analytics, data products and AI.

• Act as a senior business analyst and data product lead
  , translating business challenges into clear, practical data solutions.
• Own and prioritise the roadmap for dashboards, datasets, analytics applications and AI-ready data products.
• Lead, mentor and coordinate a team of Data Analysts and BI Developers
  , creating clarity, momentum and accountability.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation, influencing stakeholders and driving adoption of new data products and ways of working.
• Champion data literacy and enablement
  , helping non-technical teams confidently use data in everyday decision-making.
• Identify and implement opportunities to embed AI tools, agents and automated insights into analytical and operational workflows.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure data products are reliable, scalable, secure and capable of delivering measurable organisational value.

• Bachelor's degree in a numerate, analytical or technology-related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience across business analysis, data analytics, BI, data products or a related environment.
• Strong Business Analysis capability
  , with proven experience translating stakeholder needs into analytical or technical solutions.
• Previous experience leading people, projects or data initiatives, with the confidence and energy to drive engagement and change.
• Strong understanding of data and analytics, ideally with previous hands‑on experience as a Data Analyst, BI Developer, Data Scientist or similar
  .
• Experience with enterprise BI platforms such as Power BI/Fabric, Tableau, Looker or Qlik
  , together with working knowledge of SQL, Excel and ideally Python
  .
• Practical experience using AI tools and agents
  , with a forward-looking approach to how AI can improve analytical workflows and organisational productivity.
