About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Senior AI Researcher specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join their advanced research group in Nelspruit . You will lead groundbreaking research and development efforts in areas such as language modeling, text generation, and semantic understanding. This role demands a deep theoretical foundation combined with practical expertise in applying cutting-edge NLP techniques to solve complex real-world problems.

• Conduct cutting-edge research in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including deep learning models for text analysis.
• Develop and implement novel algorithms for tasks such as machine translation, sentiment analysis, and question answering.

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of post-doctoral or industry research experience in NLP .
• Proven track record of significant contributions to the NLP field, evidenced by publications and impactful projects.
• Expertise in Python , NLP libraries (e.g., NLTK, Spa Cy, Transformers), and deep learning frameworks.
• Strong theoretical understanding of statistical methods, machine learning, and deep learning architectures.
