About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Information Security Compliance Specialist to join their team in Nelspruit . This role is critical for ensuring that the organization's information security practices align with legal requirements, industry regulations, and internal policies. You will be involved in policy development, compliance assessments, and the implementation of controls to meet regulatory obligations. • Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulatory requirements (e.g., POPIA, GDPR) and assess their impact.
• Conduct regular compliance assessments and gap analyses against security frameworks and standards.
• Assist in preparing for and responding to regulatory audits and inquiries.
• Implement and manage security controls to ensure compliance objectives are met.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on security compliance matters.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in information security, compliance, or risk management roles.
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and information security frameworks.
• Experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CIPP, CRISC, or CISSP are beneficial.
