• Monitor network traffic and security logs for suspicious activities and potential threats using SIEM tools.
• Investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and develop response strategies.
• Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), and VPNs.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate network weaknesses.
• Develop and update security policies, procedures, and best practices for the organization.
• Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques relevant to the telecoms sector.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in network security or a related cybersecurity role.
• In-depth knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint security solutions.
• Understanding of common attack vectors and mitigation techniques.
• Relevant certifications like CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CCNA Security are a significant advantage.
